Crossing the districts of Richelieu and Rochelongue, you will realize the extent of Cap d’Agde. Between dunes and green spaces, you will also walk along the beaches, followed by a 10-minute photo stop at the entrance to the marina to admire the view and the comings and goings of the boats.
The audio-scripted comments will give you a new look at the town planning planned in 1968 by the “Mission Racine”.

Before the highlight of the show, you will visit certain districts of Cap d'Agde, notably along the sandy beach of La Roquille. Then, after a detour towards the panorama of the entrance to the port, you will discover the "Grande Conque", a black sand beach at the foot of the magnificent volcanic cliffs, the chronology of their formation will be told to you. Photo stop on foot for 10 minutes at the top of the cliffs.

Il y a 40 ans
That year, it was the fashion for short shorts and flip flops! But it was above all the arrival in Cap d'Agde of a rather strange vehicle for the time since there were only about ten in France. Imagine: a locomotive on tires pulling wagons, and which could even accommodate passengers. "So what is this stuff?" could be heard frequently from pedestrians seeing this little road train wandering in front of them. From the first laps of the wheel, it caused a sensation! It was in this atmosphere that our parents inaugurated the small trains of Cap d'Agde in 1982.
